Locrian Mode

Explored in experimental and modal music contexts, the Locrian mode is the most unstable and dissonant of the seven modes. Built from the seventh degree of the Major scale, Locrian includes a flattened second and fifth making it rare in tonal music due to lack of a strong tonal center, but fascinating for advanced harmonic exploration.
