3_RH_1.png

Start by placing our right hand on the keyboard in C position. The first three fingers of this pattern one, two, and three. This is followed by fingers two, three, and four.

For the next line, start by playing fingers three, four, and five. Use finger five as a sort of pivot point to turn back down in the opposite direction. Repeat that exact pattern but in reverse until reaching finger number three.

Follow that with fingers four, three, and two. And finish the exercise with fingers three, two, and one.

With your left hand, the note pattern will stay exactly the same but because of the change of hands the finger numbers will be different.

With both hands in C position start by playing the note C with finger number one in the right hand together with finger five in the left hand. Then play the note D with finger two in the right hand and finger four in the left, followed by the note E with finger 3 in each hand.

Then play to the note D with finger two in the right hand, finger four in the left. E again with finger three in each hand. Then finger four in the right hand and finger two in the left will each play the note F.

Go back to the note E in both hands. Then play the note F again with finger four in the right and finger two in the left. And then the note G with your pinky, finger number five, in the right hand and your thumb, finger number one, in the left. Head back to the note F in each hand, followed by E with finger three in each hand.

Continue playing the remaining notes of the pattern with the correct finger numbers in each hand. Make sure to go very slowly and most importantly say the letter name of each note out loud as you play.
